BLOCOTELHA supplies and installs metallic structures, cladding, and special envelopes for the new energy recovery center for waste in Paris.
Built in 1969 and modernized in 1995 and 2005, the incineration center in Ivry/Paris XIII is the largest incinerator in Europe.
Blocotelha, has signed a contract with the metropolitan household waste agency of the Île-de-France region (Syctom) for the construction and implementation of sophisticated metallic structures in the new Energy Recovery Unit (UVE) for waste in Ivry/Paris. Managed by Vinci & Chantiers Modernes, the ongoing project involves the installation of 4,500 tonnes of metallic structures and 3,000 m² of aluminum special envelopes. Representing a business volume of €27,000,000 for Blocotelha, over 40 professionals have been dedicated to this project, handling the installation of advanced steel, aluminum, and glass cladding, as well as highly technical facades, produced at the Porto de Mós industrial hub.
