RAW MATERIALS

The raw material using in façades and roofs is provided in rolls from different international ironworks. The base metal can be steel, aluminum or other metals, either in their natural color or lacquered. Lacquered steel is the material chosen in most cases, thanks to its price and technical properties.

PROTECTION AND FINISHES

The sheet can be galvanized, pre-lacquered or undergo special treatment for more corrosive environments. (galvanizing is performed in accordance with standard EN 10346 and pre-lacquering in accordance with standard EN 10169).

MANUFACTURE

Metal roofs are made using a profiling and calendering process in different machines, depending on the properties intended. The types of geometry used can be sorted into two categories: Omega and Trapezoidal, and both can be made flat or arched.

They have a vast range of uses, both for roofs, coverings and/or structural functions.

It is a very versatile product, and can be used to create numerous, unusual architectural forms.

The channels and sheets for finishing and flashing are made using a programmable bending press, in unit lengths of up to 12 meters.

INSULATION

Whenever greater thermal and acoustic insulation is required, we recommend using roofs and façades with double sheets and an air box filled with insulating materials: mineral wool, polyurethane, etc. This system significantly improves thermal comfort, reducing energy consumption for heating and minimizing the transmission of vibrations and noise.
