The expansion of Orly Sud airport aimed to increase capacity and facilitate passenger mobility for departures and arrivals. The expansion of the building includes a steel structure with the approximate dimensions of 165 meters long, 45 meters wide and a maximum height of 21 meters. The floor ceilings are made up of mixed slabs of steel and concrete. The facade was made mostly with tall glass panels. Lateral stability is guaranteed by transverse frames in the transverse direction and braces in the longitudinal direction.
